Pop-Up on Saturday, Nov 8th 11am-6pm

Join us for our November pop-up events. What is a pop-up? It's when we serve a limited menu with just a few items for one day only, so we will not have our regular summer menu available.

The following will be available for take-out or outdoor dining while supplies last:

​

  • Bourbon chicken over rice pilaf or garlic smashed potatoes: Plate - $9.50 or Dinner $13.50

    • Tender chicken thigh meat in tangy sweet bourbon sauce over rice pilaf or garlic smashed potatoes.​

    • Dinner comes with 2 sides and a roll. Add $0.75 if choosing loaded baked potato side.

  • Chimichurri pork tenderloin dinner: $12.50

    • Pork tenderloin with chimichurri (fresh herbs and garlic) sauce.

    • Comes with 2 sides and a roll. Add $0.75 if choosing loaded baked potato side. ​

  • Cherry maple jalapeno pork tenderloin dinner: $12.50

    • Pork tenderloin with cherry maple jalapeno sauce.

    • Comes with 2 sides and a roll. Add $0.75 if choosing loaded baked potato side. 

  • BLT - $5.50

  • Fries: $2.50

  • Cheese Fries: $3.25

  • Onion Rings: $3.75

  • Peanut Butter Pie Parfait: $4.00

  • Peanut Butter Pie Sundae: small $5.00 or large $6.00. Vanilla or chocolate soft serve with oreo or graham cracker crust crumbles, a heaping scoop of PB pie filling, peanut butter sauce, and whipped cream.

  • Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls: $4.00

  • Featured Seasonal Milkshake Flavors: $4.00 small or $5.00 large

    • Eggnog, Apple Cider, Pumpkin Spice, Orange Cranberry, Pumpkin Spice Latte​

A limited soft serve ice cream menu will also be available - cups, cones, shakes, malts, and some sundaes. More details to come! Follow us on Facebook for the latest info.

Pop-Up on Saturday, Nov.  15th 11am-6pm

​

The following will be available for take-out or outdoor dining while supplies last:

​

  • Cheesesteak: a full pound of steak and Cooper Sharp American cheese with grilled onions on a lightly mayoed 10" roll for $12.50. Add lettuce, tomato, or bell peppers for $0.50 each.

  • Wings: 1/2 dozen (6) for $6.50 or 1 dozen (12) for $12.50. Your choice of Buffalo, hot honey, BBQ, garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, cherry maple jalapeno, or plain. Orders of a dozen can choose 2 flavors and receive 6 wings of each kind.

  • Fries: $2.50

  • Cheese Fries: $3.00

End of Summer 2025 Season - Sunday, August 17th

We are closed for the 2025 summer season. We will reopen in May 2026.

To those wondering why the "short" season? 1) the chef has to go back to his regular chef job that follows the Penn State schedule and 2) it’s not currently financially feasible to stay open all year. We don’t want to go out of business because we tried to do too much too soon. We’re trying for a slow and steady approach to make sure we can be sustainable for years to come. This first short season was a way for us to learn the community and what works in the restaurant - we'll take those lesson and come back even stronger next year. The Phoenix will rise again in May 2026!

We will be doing some pop-up days before we open again next summer. The current pop-up schedule is:

  • Saturday, September 13th - Chicken Parmesan and a limited ice cream menu

  • Saturday, September 27th - Wings, cheesesteaks, and fries with a limited ice cream menu

  • More TBA - chef is looking to do one or two a month (Phoenix favorites and new items like soups and baked goods)
